This weekend kicks off the 5th annual Create Denver Week which aims to promote Denver as the creative capital for the Rocky Mountain West. Produced by the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs and over 100 local businesses, the Create Denver features tons of workshops, events, and parties for emerging and established creative professionals in Art, Music, Film, Architecture, Fashion, Design and more.

Join me Sunday, April 11th at Create Modern Denver hosted by Mod Livin’ (5327 E Colfax Ave). The event will feature local modern artists and designers, free grub (from Deluxe Burger and Solera Restaurant), and cocktails!

The Archibald Design Studio was founded in 2006 as a source for handcrafted modern furniture built to the strictest standards of sustainability. The past few years have been a lot of fun, and we’ve launched some truly great products. Just last summer the Studio’s “Hello Blocks” were named Colorado’s Best Modern design at the Denver by Design showcase.

Now I’m excited to announce that over the next couple of months the Studio will begin a new chapter by venturing into the blogosphere to bring you news and information about the latest trends in design, architecture, and modern living.
